Making Comparison and Hacer + time expressions

To Compare people or things that are equal to one another use:

Tan + adjective + como = as + adjective + as

To say that things are not equal, you can use the negative word "NO"

For example: levantar pesas no estan popular como correr.

To say "as much as" or " as many as" you use"

Tanto-a + noun+ como = as much +noun + as

Tantos-as + noun+ como = as many +noun + as

To ask how long something has been going on, use:

¿cuanto tiempo + hace que + present tense verb?

Example: ¿cuanto tiempo hace que estudias español?

Hace + period time + que + present tense verb

Example: Hace tres dias que estudio español.
