Introduction to golf

There are 18 holes per course

The object of the game is to get the ball into the hole in as FEW shots as possible

In golf, the lowest score wins.

Each club has a different purpose

Woods are used for longer distance

Irons are used for shorter distances and rougher terrain

Putters are used on the green for putting the ball.

The length and angle of the club face varies per club which affects the distance.

The lower the number on the club, the farther it will hit the ball.

ex: The driver is marked with the number 1.
