Le shopping verbs

The verb chercher is use to get help from a salesperson and is a regular -er verb. An example of a conversation in a store that highlights "How to get help from a salesperson" might go like this:

Modèle: Pardon monsieur (madame)

Vous désirez (may I help you)

Je cherche..............

This verb can be use alone.

modèle: Penses-tu? (Do you think so?)

Je ne pense pas. (I don't think so.)

Penser que is used to express opinion

modèle: Je pense que'elle est jolie! ( I think that it is pretty!) or to ask someone's opinion

modèle: Qu'est-ce que tu pense du pantalon?

This verb is used to locate an item or not and it is use to get someone's opinion.

modèle: Je ne trouve pas ma veste.

or

modèle: Comment trouve-tu ma veste? ( What do you think of my jacket?)
