Unit 4: Europe

After the 1990's Europe was recognized based upon ethnicity to form many of the Eastern European countries we know presently.

*Historic cathedrals and a cultural landscape of many places in Europe.

Demographic issues like population, age, and gender have caused governments to advocate for increased immigration and resolution of lower birth rates.

While many countries are mostly rural and underdeveloped some European countries have brought ideal views that represent the cultural beliefs about women.

Creation of a common market fan the coal & steel industries was the first step taken towards the foundation of the European Union.

Globalization through the European Union has provided higher standards of living.

The European Union has created a large united trade gone across Europe

Distribution of population settlements in Europe hold a majority of European settlements in small or medium-sized towns.

Because of this Europe improved mobility through facilitation of the distribution of a variety of settlements across the region.

As a result of undefined borders millions of Europeans cross borders for weeks each day.

Due to settlement patterns the population is largely multilingual

As a result of civil war & international conflict Yugoslavia was broken into 5 countries. 

Import & exportation of goods are best facilitated by river and port access the European region can provide.

Movement of natural resources to water ports for trade is a technological innovation.

Naval power allowed British Empire's ability to control a large portion of the world's economy.
