When a number or variable is up next to another variable or a parenthesis without a space, that means you need to multiply.
-4 is how many groups you need of everything in parenthesis.
Terms to multiply by -4= 4a and -3
Distributive Property is when you multiply everything on the outside of the parenthesis by everything on the inside of the paranthesis.
