Compound Subject is when there are 2 or more subjects in the sentence doing the same thing.

For example: The brothers and cousins came home today.

Compound Predicate is when the subject is doing 2 or more things in a sentence.

For example: The ship transports people and moves goods.

When joining to create a compound subject or predicate, we use special words (conjunctions) like and or or.
