All organisms have special characteristics and behavior that enables them to survive the living conditions in their habitats. They are suited or adapted to their surroundings or environment.

The adaptations help the organisms to survive.

For example:

Camels would die in the cold, freezing arctic… And so would the polar bears if they would be kept in a desert.
