MY
My is a possessive pronoun it is the same in French
In French there is a feminine masculine and plural MY. They are spelled differently but mean the same thing.
Mon is my (masculine), Ma is my (feminine) and Mes is my (plural).
For example if a girl was saying "My mom is nice" in French it would be "MA maman est gentil" If a boy was saying "My mom is nice" in French it would be "MON maman est gentil" If someone said "My moms are nice" it would be "MES mamans sont gentil".

TA is yours (feminine)
TES is yours (plural)

SON means His
SA means Her
SES means HIS/HER!
