Scientific Method

• Define purpose (ask a question)

• Construct hypothesis

• Test the hypothesis and collect data (experiment)

• Analyze data (mean, graphs, etc.)

• Draw conclusion

• Communicate results (presentation)

• These steps can vary in the way they are titled but the scientific method is basically a step-by-step process to help you answer a question with an experiment.

• If you choose to do a science fair project you will be joining a Science Fair Google Classroom managed by Mrs. Brate.

• The Science Fair google classroom will provide structure and organization to help you complete your science fair project step-by-step.
