Understand Multiplication 0, 1, 2

Any number multiplied by 0 will always be 0

So whenever you see a number being multiplied by 0 just remember the answer will always be 0

For example is the problem  $2\times0=$  

You would  know that you would have 2 groups of 0, meaning your answer would be 0

Any number Multiplied by 1 will always be that number

So whenever you see a number being Multiplied by 1 just know the answer will be that number

An example being $1\times8=$  

So you would know that you would have 1 group of 8. Meaning that your answer would be 8

The easiest way to remember your 2 Multiplication table is that it will always be an even number

By even numbers it means your answer should always end in either a 0,2,4,6, or 8

If you can't do it off the top of your head you can always just count by 2's

Another way you can solve your Multiplication problems would be to use arrays

An Array is a way to represent Multiplication and Division using rows and columns. Rows(go across from left to right) represent the number of groups. Columns(go up and down) represent the number in each group or the size of each group.

So by using the Arrays you would count all the dots or circles in your Array in order to find your answer
