There are a hand full of verbs used this way. It usually doesn't work as it would in English.

Here are a few REFLEXIVE VERBS:

Lavarse - To wash (one's self)

Llamarse - To be call (one's self)

Despertarse - To wake (one's self)

Acostarse- To lie down (one's self)

Cepillarse - To brush (one's teeth)

The reflexive pronouns are:
