la primavera - spring
el verano - summer
el otoño - fall
el invierno - winter

¿Qué son los meses para las estaciones?
primavera - marzo, abril, y mayo
verano - junio, julio, y agosto
otoño - septiembre, octubre, noviembre
invierno - diciembre, enero, febrero

El tiempo - the weather
¿Cuál es el tiempo hoy? - What is the weather today?
Hace calor. - It is hot.
Hace frío. - It is cold.
Hace sol. - It is sunny.
Remember - the "Hh" is always silent
in Spanish, so "Hace" is pronounced:
ah-say

Hace buen tiempo. - It is good weather.
Hace mal tiempo. - It is bad weather.
Llueve. - It is raining.
Está lloviendo. - It is raining (2 different ways to say this in Spanish).
Remember - the "ll" makes the "y" sound
* llover - to rain

Nieva. - It is snowing.

Está nublado. - It is cloudy.
