a noun (such a tragedy)

adjective + noun (such a beautiful day)

a lot of + noun (such a lot of problems)

He was such a bore that I couldn't listen without falling asleep.

She is such a nice person that I can't say anything bad about her.

There is such a lot of rubbish on the streets! I can't stand it.

if the word is countable, you must include a/an in the construction (such a bad essay, such an interesting company)

if the word is uncountable or plural, don't do that (such good information, such bad news, such long hours)

We use few/many for counable nouns and little/much for uncountable ones.
