What are the steps in solving Simple or word Problems?

Division of decimals, just like multiplication, can be done using either the fraction method or the decimal method. Change the divisor into whole number. If one decimal place, multiply the divisor by 10 and the dividend or just simply move the decimal point one step to the right. Then do the long traditional division problem.

Before you proceed dividing, you need to answer the question. Is your divisor a whole number? If not then, make it a whole number by diving the divisor by 10 if it is only one place or just move the decimal one step to the right as well as you dividend. Divide as traditional long problem.
