• @ least 35 years old

• natural born citizen..."anyone born on U.S. soil and subject to its jurisdiction is a natural born citizen" (Cornell Law)

• Has live in the the country for 14 years

• Serves for 4 years

Responsibilities of President

• Enforces laws

• veto Legislative bills

• makes treaties (for peace and trade) "Does this mean that the treaties are automatically legal?"

• Extends pardons and clemencies

• Appoints people in charge of various departments to.......

  • help start and enforce legislative laws
