Grade 8 Volleyball

Stand with feet slightly wider than your shoulders 

Bend knees

Place one hand in the palm of the other

Thumbs together pointing to the floor

Keep arms away from the body with elbows straight 

Ball must contact both forearms at above waist height

Straighten knees as you make the pass

Stand with feet shoulder width apart with one slightly in front of the other

Bend your knees 

Position your hands above your forehead

Point elbows outwards

Keep fingers apart

Form a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers

Bend your knees 

Look through the triangle to see the ball

Make contact with the ball with the pads of your fingers

Flick your wrists and extend arms

Straighten your knees

Follow through in the direction of the pass
