A. Pembagian Pecahan Biasa dengan Bilangan Asli

1. Jika pecahan biasa dibagi dengan bilangan asli maka pembilang dari pecahan tersebut tetap sedangkan penyebutnya dikalikan dengan bilangan asli itu.
Bentuk umumnya :
$\frac{a}{b}\ :\ c\ =\ \frac{a}{b\ \times\ c}$
dengan a, b, c adalah bilangan asli

Contoh :

$\frac{14}{5}\ :\ 7\ =\ \frac{14}{5}\ :\ \frac{7}{1}$

$\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\ \frac{14}{5}\ \times\ \frac{1}{7}$

$\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\ \frac{14\ \times\ 1}{\ \ 5\ \times\ 7}$

$\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\ \frac{14}{35}$

ingat untuk tanda : diubah menjadi tanda X, dan pecahan

\frac{7}{1}\ dibalik\ menjadi\ \frac{1}{7}

Jika Bilangan asli dibagi dengan pecahan biasa maka pembagian berubah menjadi perkalian tetapi pecahannya dibalik

Bentuk umumnya :

a\ :\ \frac{b}{c}\ =\ a\ \times\ \frac{b}{c}

dengan a, b, c adalah bilangan asli

$24\ :\ \frac{3}{8}\ =\ \frac{24}{1}\ :\ \frac{3}{8}$

\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\frac{24}{1}\ \times\ \frac{8}{3}

\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\frac{24\ \times\ 8}{\ 1\ \ \times\ 3}

\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =\frac{192}{3}

\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =64
