b. To give the reader the image of sand in your hand

c. To give the reader the feeling of the wind blowing

d. To show the wind catching you by the hand

a.To make the reader understand what it feels like to dance with the wind

b. To give the reader the picture of waves crashing into shore

c. To give the reader the image that the wind is alive and can dance and whirl around with you

d. The wind cannot do any of this

a. It curled and whirled

b. To the cry of a gull

c. We danced together

d. The wind came running

The Wind came Running

to the cry of the gull

down to the edge

it curled and whirled

At a shopping mall

at a lake in the mountains

at a beach somewhere by the ocean

in the middle of a city
