 What cars need to move. Most cars use gasoline as stored energy to move.    We get energy from food we eat during the day.

These cars use batteries to move. Batteries are stored energy. Batteries can be recharged to work for a long time.

 A motor works hard to pull a roller coaster up a hill.

The height of a hill provides energy for a roller coaster to go back down a hill.

Electrical energy needs a path. Electrical energy needs material to flow through. In a battery, the electrical energy flows from the negative to positive side.
