Gasping Garbage Cases

Drake and Nell receive a call from Gabby Talberg about a gasping garbage can.

They discover that there is no monster in the garbage can; only yeast and flour.

The yeast was able to grow and multiply by feeding on the flour in the can.

This created carbon dioxide gas, causing the garbage can to sound as though it was burping in order to release gas.

Drake and Nell follow the frogs and discover that they are getting squished when trying to cross the road.

They created signs that said, "SLOW DOWN! FROG CROSSING! NATURE IN PROGRESS!", "SAVE THE FROGS!", "SAVE THE TADPOLES!", "SAY YES TO THE ENVIRONMENT!".

The signs did not work, so Drake and Nell went on the radio to get help from the community.

The community helped to build a culvert so the frogs could get to their habitat safely.

Drake and Nell learn that there is a truck wedged under a bridge, stopping traffic from getting through.

Drake and Nell were stumped and could not figure out how to get the truck out.

Nell thought of the "simplest answer" and poked into the valves of the tires.

The tires were deflated enough to allow the truck to fit under the bridge.

Drake and Nell receive a call from Lilly Crump about an anonymous love letter.

They gathered pens from all suspects and used chromatography to test the inks.

Lilly learns that Baloney Mahoney sent her the love letter.
