contoh : 2 x 3 = 3 + 3 = 6
misalnya, Edo memiliki 4 kantong plastik yang pada setiap kantong berisi 3 kelereng. Bagaimana bentuk perkaliannya?
cara penyelesaiannya yaitu : 3 kelereng dijumlahkan sesuai dengan banyaknya kantong. Dapat di tulis bentuk perkalinnya yaitu 4 x 3 = 12 kelereng.

contoh :

ada 3 ikat ceri yang mana setiap ikatnya berisi 7 buah ceri. Berapa buah ceri seluruhnya?

jawab : 7 + 7 + 7 = 21 atau 3 x 7 = 21
