The Australian Greens are a political party based on four key principles: ecological sustainability, grassroots democracy, social justice and peace and non-violence.

We have the courage to put people and our future first. That means that along with meaningful and smart solutions to ensure future generations of Australians have clean air, clean water and clean soil, the Greens are also working in many other areas to champion integrity, decency and fairness.

As well as representing constituents, the Greens speak on behalf of those who wouldn’t otherwise get much of a say inside parliament: children, refugees, students, individuals and families living in poverty and, of course, our natural environment.

The Australian Labor Party is Australia's oldest political party. Our history is intertwined with the history of Australia’s democracy labour movement.

Labor’s passion for fairness at work, healthcare for everyone and access to quality education no matter what a person’s circumstances add up to a firm belief that we should all have the same opportunities in life. These are the values that underpin everything we do.

Following the 2019 Federal Election, Federal Labor Leader Anthony Albanese and his parliamentary colleagues have embarked on a national listening tour to hear from communities across the country.

That our nation has a constructive role to play in maintaining world peace and democracy through alliance with other free nations.

We believe the future of regional Australia is critical to the future of our nation.

Our priorities are building stronger regional economies and secure communities, delivering opportunity and prosperity for all regional Australians, and ensuring a sustainable environment.

Stronger, more secure, sustainable local communities that provide the opportunity for everyone to prosper will deliver a stronger, more secure and sustainable nation.
