On Yom Kippur we say 'Gmar Chatima Tova' which means 'have an easy fast'

Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year for Jewish people

On Sukkot we say 'Chag Sukkot Sameach' or just 'Chag Sameach', which means 'Happy Holiday!'

It takes one year to read the whole Torah. Every week Jews around the world read the same part of the Torah, called a parsha. When the last parsha of the year is complete and we are ready to start the Torah over, we celebrate Simchat Torah.

Many Jewish people celebrate with Hakafot, which is parading the Torah around the synagogue.
