Human Impact on water cycle

• To understand the different ways humans impact the water cycle

• I can list 3 ways humans impact the water cycle, and explain how.

Some text here about the topic of discussion

• Is the process of cutting down trees

• Deforestation impacts the water cycle in a negative way.

• Due to there being less tree's, there is less transpiration.

• Less transpiration results in less evaporation, meaning less rainfall in the effected areas.

• Impact surface water by contributing pesticides, sediment and bacteria into the water cycle.

•

• Is the warming of the Earth through carbon emissions

• Effects water cycle, as higher air temperatures results in increased evaporation.

• This can lead into things such as intense rainstorms.
