when you do solfege you usually go from low to high,when you are sinning you go do re mi fa sol la ti do, do ti la sol fa mi re do. solfege is also defined as sight singing/reading new music.

Solo
for solos you have to know you part, you have to be able pronounce the words correct and finally you have to use a microphone so you have to find a good spot where you can sing with out hitting it or it being to loud. Sometimes it is not a real solo you might have 2-3 other people doing it with you, most schools only use 1-2 microphone (one for girls and and a boy) so you have to share them. When you share it you go in a circle so that you can all project your voice.
