A good school student

Hi My Name is John. Have you ever wondered what a good student does or what a good student feels like. Well I have, there are a few Nerds in my class and they are known as good students I've alway's wanted to be one but my friends say i'm to good for them so now what do i do, do i stay being a bad kid who never gets his/her work done or do i be good student. I want to get good grades but my friends say i have to be cool and chill.

My Mom said that if i got good grades she would by me the game concol i've alway's wanted so i really want to be a good student, but at the same time my friends say i should be a bad boy. what should i do?,Help me out by answering these questions.
