Verb Endings
In Latin, the ending of the verb tells us the subject
-ō or -m = I
-s = you
-t = he/she/it

What is a linking/being verb?
Simple in English: is/are/was/were/am/be/been
Links a noun or pronoun to a word that "modifies" or explains it
That word might be an adjective (like "clamosa" - "loud") or it might be another noun (like "mendax" - "liar")
Subura est clamosa. = The Subura is loud.
Sabina est mendax. Sabina is a liar.
