Nilai suatu fungsi bisa diperoleh dengan mensubtitusikan suatu nilai ke dalam persamaan fungsi yang diberikan.
Contoh :
Diberikan suatu fungsi :

Nilai Fungsi f(x), berarti x kita ganti dengan angka.

f\left(x\right)=5-2x

f\left(2\right)=5-2\left(2\right)
