Find the value of x

We know the tow angles add up to 90 degress because of the right angle at the vertex.

The two angles are complentary

 $90=x+62$  

 $x=28\degree$  

Find the value of x

Angles are supplementary - add up to

 $180=\left(5x+4\right)+\left(x-2\right)+\left(3x+7\right)$ 

 $180=9x+9$  

 $171=9x$  

 $19=x$  

If two angles are complements of the same angle, or of congruent angles, then the two angles are congruent.
