Words that describe people and things are called adjectives.
Most Spanish adjectives have two forms:
Masculine (ending in -o)
Feminine (ending in -a)
Ex: Tómas es simpático
Luisa es simpástica.

Adjectives that end in -e or -ista can be used with both masculine and feminine nouns.
Ex: Tomás es inteligente. Luisa es inteligente también.
Ex: Marcos es deportista. Ana es muy deportista también.

Trabajador
To make "trabajador" feminine, you simply add -a to the end.
--> Trabajadora
