• Situations can be real or hipotetical.

Conditional sentences types ZERO and 1

• CONDITION - IF + present tense RESULT - in the present --- If you heat metal, it expands.

• CONDITION - IF + present tense RESULT - in the future --- If it rains, we will stay home tomorrow.

Conditonal sentences type 2

• It stablishes a realation between a hypotetical condition and a hipotetical result. ---- If I were you, I would tell your mom the truth.

• UNLESS and EVEN IF are also used. ----- She wouldn´t travel, unless she got the plane tickets. / She would travel, even if she had no plane tickets.
