The purpose of your reasoning is to explain the quotation used as your evidence, explaining how it proves your supporting claim and your central claim.

Explain the quotation in your own words and make it clear how it is supporting the claim of the paragraph (Supporting Claim).

Starting prompts for Reasoning #1:

"This means that..."

"It is clear that..."

This statement should directly reference your central claim (ESHS should/should not return to in person schooling)

Starting prompts for Reasoning #2: "This is important because…"

"Therefore, because _____________, ESHS should/should not return in person."

"This is important because…"
