Congruent Angles and Segments

A segment bisector is a line or line segment that bisects (divides into two congruent parts) a line segment.

Segment Bisectors intersect line segments at their midpoints. In this example, line segment AB is bisected by line k at M, so line segment AM is congruent to line segment MB.
