Even though we live in the 21st century, there still are around 3 billion people living in poverty around the world. Everyone has a role to play on this earth. If people do not have their basic needs met to ensure a basic quality of life, then some will end up wasting away on the streets, never amounting to their full potential. Government funded housing should be equally available to people who are without a job, who have children, who have a disability, or are veterans.
