Sort Household Objects:

With a partner, gather some solid objects in your household. Take turns describing their properties. Sort the objects. What property did you use to sort the objects?

Measure Two Ways:

Use a measuring cup to find out about how many ounces equal 150 millilitres? How did you find the amount? What did you find out?

Observe Air:

Tightly pack a paper towel into the bottom of a cup. Turn the cup upside down. Push the cup straight down into a bowl of water. Then pull it straight out. What happens to the paper towel? Why?
