Matter is a thing that has mass and occupies space.

There are 3 types of matter: Solid , Liquid and Gas.

We are also matter

We are made up of cells and tissues

Solid is the hard form. You cannot compress it because its molecules are strong.

These molecules are held together by force.

Example: Ice , Cookies , Can etc.

Liquid is the flowing form.

It flows so your cannot compress and hold because the molecules here are a little weak.

Examples: Water , Juice , Milk etc.

Gas is the moving form.

It moves around freely.

You can't hold , press or see it because the molecules are very weak so it moves free.

Its invisible.

Examples: Oxygen , Carbon - Dioxide , Nitrogen etc.
