Once upon a time there was a man who found things that look so small he picked it up he then got a brace let he suggested that he would turn the numbers into letters then he told he's friends "What are you talking about" said one of his friends then the man said " I'll show you' then he ran of he decided that he would label them I FOR 1,II FOR 2,III FOR THREE AND MORE like L 50,X 10,D 500,C 100,V 5 AND M FOR 1,000 HE DECIDED THAT HE WILL REPEAT THE ONES WHO START AT 1 BUT IT CAN ONLY BE REPEATED 3 TIMES BUT The one who starts at 5 it cannot be repeated then he decided if a smaller number is in front it subtracts the number behind example : IX 1-10 = 9=IX and if there is a line on top of any number it adds a thousand or 3 zeros behind the number and then he told it to his friends there friends felt sorry and said that it can be a great idea and there are 5 and there names where Richard,Oscar,Marry and Nathan and there groups name is nurals so the Man decided to name the numbers ROMAN NUMERALS and when they picked it they used it.
