When Travon Martin was killed in Feb., 2012 by George Zimmerman.

Colin Kaepernick & Rosa Parks were two people who wanted to draw attention to racism in society.
They were both considered disrespectful and they stood out as trouble makers.

John Lewis 1940-2020
was also a trouble -maker. He was a United States Congressman who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and was arrested 45 times against protesting social injustices.

John Lewis fought for Voting Rights for All Americans as well as protested against police brutality.

John Lewis admired Dr. King for standing up for Social Justice in a non-violent way. He joined Dr. King in many protest marches.

What continues to anger Black people is that only 1% of those who killed unarmed Black and Brown people, actually go to jail.

So Why Do We Say Black Lives Matter and not All Live Matter?
Of Course, All Lives Matter, but right now, the focus is on the ones who are in danger.
