M1 Review

The computer sees everything in 1's and 0's. Remember the Flippy Do? All 1's and 0's. That's Binary. The computer's processor  will change letters, number, colors and sound into 1's and 0's.

The four main components are input, output, processor, and memory. A computer takes in information, processes it, some stays in memory and then the computer outputs that information using the printer or monitor or headphones as an output device.

A computer is anything that can take in information, process it, and output it. So, the photo and pocket watch are not computers.

Relays were replaced with vacuum tubes. Vacuum tubes wee replaced with transistors. The order is relays, vacuum tubes, transistors.
