7 Principles of Government

What Principle: Government's power is limited to protect the people's rights.

What Principle: People in government have to obey the Constitution, including the President.

What Principle: The government's power is divided between 3 branches.

What Principle: Only the Judicial branch can interpret the laws.

What Principle: Each branch has some power over the other two branches.

What Principle: The Supreme Court can declare laws that Congress makes to be unconstitutional.
