An interjection is a word or phrase that expresses strong emotion or surprise.

A declarative sentence is a statement that provides information and ends with a period.

An interrogative sentence is a question that seeks information and ends with a question mark.

An imperative sentence gives a command or request and can end with a period or an exclamation mark.

An exclamatory sentence expresses strong emotion and ends with an exclamation mark.
