A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and other words in a sentence. Examples include 'in', 'on', 'under', and 'between'.

Adjectives are words that describe nouns. They provide more information about a noun, such as color, size, or quantity. For example, in 'the big red ball', 'big' and 'red' are adjectives.

A prepositional phrase is a group of words that begins with a preposition and ends with a noun or pronoun. For example, 'under the table' is a prepositional phrase.

An apostrophe is used to show possession (e.g., 'the dog's leash') or to indicate missing letters in contractions (e.g., 'don't' for 'do not').

The three tenses of verbs are past (action that has already happened), present (action happening now), and future (action that will happen).
